MERCY R. GALVAN - DAYCARE DIRECTOR
35 years of childcare experience and counting. Mercy first started her career by being an infant teacher in 1988. Recognized for her hard work and exemplary work ethic, she moved up the ladder to eventually become director of one of San Antonio’s oldest childcare institutions. From 1998-2003, she was selected to be a site supervisor for a childcare branch. She successfully created a healthy nurturing learning environment that fostered in the children’s growth and development. From there, she started her directorial debut when she was tapped to be assistant director during 2003-2014. During her tenure as assistant director, she streamlined the field to eventually becoming director in 2015. Under her direction, the facility was able to consistently earn top stars and marks by various child care agencies.

Madison started her interest in childcare at a young age when she used to care for her family members. She enjoys reading to children and listening to them talk about their interest. She especially loves being able to hold and calm infants and teaching them new skills. Madison is a very patient and soft spoken person and looks forward to watching these little humans flourish.
